Hand Dribbling Tips
Wide Spider Finger: Keep your fingers spread and use your finger pads at the tips of your finger to guide the ball
Push the Ball to the Floor: Control the ball by pushing the ball to the floor rather than slapping at the ball
Keep your Head Up: When practicing keep your eyes off the ball and scope the area around you. When playing basketball you will need to see when your teammates are open so that you can pass the ball to them
Correct Shooting Form
Stance: Feet shoulder width apart and toes at target
Swing your arm like a Purse: Get ready to catch
Hold the ball like a Tray: Hold the ball as if it's a tray of food with your elbow underneath your wrist and your wrist cocked back
Extend out of the Chimney: Put your bicep by your ear
Dip the Hand in the Cookie Jar: Hold your follow through "Cookies"
